Trauma Informed Leadership Program

Trauma is unfortunately incredibly common. An estimated 50-70% of people will experience at least one traumatic incident in their lives. That means that our teams, employees and organisations also might have been exposed to various traumas or stressors, including abuse, discrimination, challenging team dynamics, job insecurity, and so on.

All of this can put an inordinate amount of pressures and stress on leaders to create a ‘safe space’ for their teams. But how do we navigate the multitudes of threats that might still be present?

This 6-month integrative Trauma-Informed Leadership Program supports professionals to become more trauma-informed, and in turn support their teams and organisations to start to incorporate trauma-informed principles. We will focus on the concept of trauma, survival strategies within organisations, the cultural context of teams and places of work, impact of trauma, team and interpersonal dynamics, preventing or supporting burn-out, compassion fatigue, secondary traumatic stress and vicarious…
